No more Sansa Fuse players! September 6, 2008 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
I ordered on Aug 18 and received Aug29. Plugged in and tried to listen to. No sound, had to continue to move the headphone plug around to hear. So I returned it to Amazon and they immed shipped me another. Aug 29 order, arrived Sept 5. Plugged in and no problems, set up some FM channels, getting ready to load up some music and a good song came on. Turn it up!, but to my dismay after volume was about 50% it starts cutting in and out, I think its the radio station but no, no matter what station, what mp3, same thing is happening. So I am sending this one back for a refund. 2 orders, 2 DOA. Amazon was great, but NO MORE SANSA FUSE for me.
Fuze has convinced me: No more Sansa players! September 6, 2008 0 out of 4 found this review helpful
Earlier this year I purchased an 8GB Sansa e280 that died on me within 3 months. But! I had liked it before its mystery death (no idea what caused it to stop connecting to my computer) and I still had the FM Transmitter for my car, so thought I'd try another Sansa player. Bad idea - my 8GB Fuze died in less than a month.
Aside from the fact it now won't turn on, it also lacked some of the features I'd liked on the e280, and its scroll wheel feels flimsy.
Maybe I just bought two freak badly-made Sansa players, but I wouldn't recommend the brand to anyone else.
Best Girlfriend Ever September 4, 2008 I bought this player for my boyfriend for his birthday. He tells me ever day how much he loves it. It's very easy to use, easy to upload your songs and pictures to. He's kind of clumsy, but it's holding up great. With all the extras, it totally beats the crap out of ipod nano. And at nearly half the price....

Great product at a great price. Excellent quality and Sound. Very easy to use for a novice like myself. Works great with windows media player. I have not added any additional memory so I don't know how that works. A few minor issues are: When using menu and thumb wheel you always start at the top of the menu and can only search going forward so if the artist you are looking for starts with the letter Z, you have to start at A and and scroll all the way to Z. The screen scratches easily so get a protector. ON/off switch is hard to operate if you put a soft cover on the player. These are just minor inconvienences. Still a 5 star product.
