So I was really nervous purchasing a transmitter because alot of reviews for diffrent brands claimed static but I was driving cross country and my car isn't set up for direct ipod connection so this was my only other option besides making a bunch of cd's. So I got this one because of the gooseneck feature. I am so glad I did. This product is great. I have the iphone 3g and I didn't have static once. The only time I ever had to switch frequencies is when an area was actually using that frequency for a radio station. And I think that happened once. The gooseneck is strong and doesn't move while driving. It brings it to perfect height and doesn't get in the way of my shifter. I really like the fact the it has an extra usb port on the side so your passenger can charge her ipod/iphone while yours is playing music. I also really like how it holds my phone when I'm using navigation. A steal at this price. Highly recommended!

Bought this for my wife's new Iphone 3G. Great price at $24.95+$7.95 S/H. Only issue is that when you answer a call, I expected the callers voice to play over the cars speakers. It does not work this way. The output only plays over the iPhone 3G speaker phone. I don't think that's a big issue, but the online ad "infers" that the speaker voice should play over the cars speakers. Instead, when the phone rings, the music stops playing over the cars speakers and you are in speaker phone mode on the iPhone 3G. I would have given it a 5/5 instead of 3/5 if it had worked the way I expected. Regardless, my wife is happy and the price was 1/4 the price of the same product at the mall kiosks.
