Amazon.com Product Description The Creative I-Trigue 2.1 3400 Speaker System introduces a new era in desktop speaker design. The desirable curved outlines of the freestanding satellites emphasize the satin-black driver enclosures. Meanwhile, polished silver driver rims add a stunning blend of form and texture, making this system a slick addition to any desktop. But this system makes more than just a fashion statement. This unique subwoofer speaker system features two premium speakers, each with three titanium drivers that deliver better sonic accuracy and clarity than other speakers designed with aluminum drivers. Its powerful wood subwoofer incorporates a 6.5-inch long-throw driver with a dual flared port tube for a clean and natural sound. What's more, the system's wired remote control comes with an output jack for personal listening with your headphones. Creative I-Trigue 2.1 3400 delivers quality, performance, and style in a sleek speaker design that fits nicely in any modern home office environment.
Product Description These compact, powerful speakers are a perfect complement for flat panel monitors. The wired remote control can be conveniently placed anywhere on the desktop, with an auxiliary input to easily turn an MP3 portable audio player into a premium home stereo system. Each speaker features advanced NeoTitanium Tri-Array technology for accurate, balanced, and natural sound. And you can use the included adapter / audio cable to experience high-quality sound in style with any audio device, including MP3 portable audio players, CD players, television sets and video game consoles.

Lemon November 6, 2007 These speakers worked great for the first two months, until the wired remote control started breaking down. The volume fluctuated on its own and sound would only play on one side of headphones plugged into the control. After calling into customer service and being told that "four other people called in today with the same problem," I ordered Creative's audio control pod, thereby replacing a defective product with another defective product. When plugged into the speakers, the control makes a loud hissing noise at most volume levels. I wonder why these speakers were on sale?
Good stuff August 1, 2007 I love these speakers. Loud as heck and has a lot to offer. I use it mainly on my computer but I do use it for my iPod and my PS3.
Creative FTW! May 15, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This system is quite good. I bought it for a friend, and e likes it very much. The bass is unbelieveable from such a small subwoofer, and it's quite loud if you turn it up. HOWEVER, it lacks midrange and makes some songs sound shallow and far too focused on extreme highs and lows. You will have to adjust the EQ of the device you plug in to add more midrange in order to make the sound fidelity acceptable. Honestly, for $99, I would expect more.
THE WORST SET OF SPEAKERS I'VE EVER HEARD. February 18, 2007 8 out of 12 found this review helpful
I can't get anything resembling the real sound of any music I know. I've played with my equalizer for over an hour and nothing sounds correct on these speakers. These are probably the worst sounding speakers I've ever purchased. My DELL speakers are better. They have less volume but at least they're warmer and they reproduce the sound correctly.
Someone else said it, too tinny, no mids and no bass. These are far too bright sounding. Put the sub woofer under the desk and forget about any lows coming your way. I don't know what the rest of the reviewers are listening to. Maybe they're corporate shills. Thanks, to the one honest reviewer who recommended Altec-Lansing.
WOW!! Terrible!! These are going back to Circuit City tomorrow. (I have since bought the Logitech Z 2300s which are rated as the best 2 speaker set-up you can buy for your computer. Wow, like night and day compared to these pieces of junk. I paid $150.00 for them and they're worth every penny. They're $112.00 on Amazon. You won't believe the sound that comes out of the tiny 3.5 jack on the back of your computer. Buy the Logitechs instead.)
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!! IF YOU BUY THESE, YOU'LL BE SORRY!!
Excellent product January 23, 2007 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I have been researching this product for a while now. I even researched it on the Creative Labs website but found the price more reasonable through Amazon.com. I have a Creative mp3 player and found that newer downloaded music has a locked copyguard on it. By using the remote with the input allows me to listen to all my music. I love the remote with input, headphone jack and bass control. I was even offered a $20 rebate through Amazon. My friend has an older version of Creative speakers and these blow them away. I think they even sound better than Bose speakers I have researched. I recommend these speakers to everyone, even at full price. I think they may even sound better than my home stereo. I also received them in 2 days where other retailers approximated delivery in 5 to 10 business days. It is the best investment you can make if you're into great sound while listening to music or gaming. The subwoofer fits well under your desk while the titanium speakers fit almost anywhere.
