Recommend the Incipio Leather Kickstand Case Instead October 24, 2008 This case is okay, but its not very tight, so when you have the cover open the zune tends to slip out. Also, the plastic screen protector makes the screen impossible to see in the sun due to glare.
Lastly, if you use your zune for watching videos, i recommend the Incipio Leather Kickstand Case instead (also available on amazon), since it holds itself up at an angle so you can watch video while eating, etc
A very versatile case. October 21, 2008 If you're looking for a case to hold your Zune this one is a great choice. I normally don't like cases because they add too much bulk to a device but this one is quite compact while still offering good protection. The protection is so good that it's all but impossible to press any buttons through the case, making the hold switch obsolete. There is also quite a lot of padding on the flip cover which gives even more protection for the Zune's glass screen. The belt clip makes it easy to carry and can be removed if you prefer to put it in your pocket. Because of the case's design it makes for a great holster allowing the Zune to be easily removed. I find this feature particularly handy when entering and exiting my vehicle and plugging my Zune into the stereo.
My only complaint about the case is about the design of the flip cover. It is much better suited for headphones with a right-angle plug as the case hits the cord on those with a straight plug. This makes opening and closing the case a little difficult. Other than that this is a nice case and great value for money.
Perfect for me. July 21, 2008 I like this case so much that I bought the same case in a different color for my husband's Zune. I use the belt clip feature occasionaly but really enjoy it when I do. I love the flip lid feature. I can access all of the ports while the Zune is in the case. The clear plastic over the viewing screen and flip lid really protects screen.
After all of the research for Zune 80 GB cases, my husband and I are very pleased with this leather case.
Excellent Product April 18, 2008 This case gives a snug fit around the 80 GB and offers great protection (as evidenced by two drops since use and no damage to the player). The lifetime warranty offered by Incipio is an appealing incentive as well. I highly recommend this product.
Great casing for Zune, very few problems February 7, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is a great case for my Zune 80GB. If you're looking for something that a whole lot cheaper than Microsoft's case, then this would be good. It has a nifty little screen protector and also holes for your headphones and sync cable. Also there are magnets that hold the case shut (the magnets won't harm your Zune). They didn't work too well for a bit, but I eventually bent the cover enough so that it stayed on. The only other thing that I don't like is the positioning of the bottom casing. There is a strip of leather that makes it inconvenient to push the down button on the touch pad. Luckily you can just swipe your finger down instead. The other buttons are easy to push though. It's only the down button that has a bit of accessibility problems.
