 Belkin Continues To Shine January 3, 2009
The Belkin Remix Acrylic Case for iPod nano 3G lives up to the standard set by its predecessors.
I actually have the previous iPod nano model, but my daughters all have the 3G. Likewise, I had the previous model clear acrylic case from Belkin for my nano. It has performed flawlessly, so we wanted a similar product for the 3G iPods.
Many of us buy our favorite color iPod, so the clear acrylic is a must-have. Why would anyone want a colored, or leather, iPod case? Don't hide that Apple beauty.
So, what sets Belkin apart from the competition? The same thing that sets the Apple iPod apart from the other MP3 players... Attention to the click-wheel.
Of all the iPod cases I've tried, only Belkin allows the iPod click-wheel to work as smoothly as it does "naked" (without a case). Belkin does cover the click-wheel, but uses a very thin layer of soft plastic that does not hamper performance or cause the wheel to be any less responsive.
The only downfall I found with this current model - the case will pop open if dropped, at least if dropped on concrete. This has already happened, but there was no damage to the iPod or the case. I believe previous models were a but more difficult to open.
Nonetheless, for unimpaired display of the cool iPod colors and unhampered control of the click-wheel, I would recommend this Belkin case above all others.
 Perfect fit and protection December 16, 2008
This case fits great, with protection for both screen and click wheel. The click wheel cover in no way inhibits the funtion. I liked this so much I bought a similar one for my 80 gig iPod.
Great case for the cost December 15, 2008
I purchased one of these for my iPod Nano. My wife had a nano for a couple of months and the metal back of hers was all scratched up, so I decided to protect mine from the start.
The bulk of the case is a rigid clear plastic that protects the screen and shell of the iPod very well. A thin coating of plastic covers the click wheel, and this allows you to still control the iPod while it is in the case. I've checked out a lot of these cases and this is by far the best one that I found. Highly recommended!
Gotta Nano, gotta have this... November 7, 2008
I don't know how many drops this has protected our nano's from...it's many!! It fits great, protects the screen, put it on and forget about it. My daughter has has hers for over 2 years now. It has one good sized scratch on the back, the rest looks great. We opened it up the other day because she wanted to place a sticker in the back behind her Ipod and her Nano looked perfectly new since it's been so well protected all this time. If you don't have this case...get one!
Just what I asked for September 8, 2008
Since my ipod already had a small scratch on the screen, I wanted a protector. This one is slim and light. I was even able to add skin for my ipod. It protects the click wheel too; there is no problem when using it. The price was also excellent. The only part I did complain in the beginning was that there is a trick to open it. But overall, I am quite happy with it.
