 Pleased with iLive Boombox December 1, 2008
I ordered this boombox so I could use my iPod around the house without using the headphones. I didn't expect it to be a full-fledged stereo system (I could just use my computer/speakers for that) but just something I could use in the kitchen or at work. It's a great little boombox! It has a decent sound and volume. The radio seems to work pretty well, even in my house where reception isn't the greatest. My only complaint is that while the iPod adapters are numerically labeled on a sheet, the corresponding numbers aren't printed on all the pieces, so you have to use trial and error to find out which works (for me at least--I have a 2nd generation nano.) Amazon also had the best price for this product from any store I have seen so far. Overall, very happy with purchase, and considering buying more for gifts.

We use it everyday, sound is amazing and ease of use is simple! I would certainly recommend to buy it! the extra plus is that it has a radio and is portable!

I just got this from Amazon yesterday. It is small, compact, has a great handle for carrying, and has a very clean sound as well! I would buy another of these in a heart beat if I needed too. Yes it takes 8 "C" batteries... not too "green" I know... but it also has the AC cord too. This would be PERFECT if it had a rechargeable battery with it. I'm a teacher who goes to two buildings and this is exactly what I needed for some tunes in both rooms and in both buildings. Couldn't be much happier! Try one out for yourself; I doubt you'll be disappointed.
 Good product for streaming radio November 17, 2008
I was little confused when I received the product. The way the different Ipod adapters are defined is a joke.
Personally I use an Ipod touch 16G and I spend my time outside of my country so streaming the radio on portable device like that is great.
The sound is average but see the price it is not designed to listen music with a great sound.
I have just a negative feedback, it seems that whatever the position you select (off, Ipod, radio), it seems to be charging all the time the Ipod.
So if you are using the battery and forget to remove the Ipod, it will discharge the batteries.
But see the price, that product is great.

I sent this as a gift to my son @ school. My son called me and raved about how nice it is... I really think he is happy with it. Before long I realized this call was a plee for batteries LOL.. He really does like it and the price was unbeatable.
