Syncs & charges a 5th gen iPod perfectly November 30, 2008 I had no issues at all using this cable with my wife's 5th generation iPod (video). Eforcity fast shipping and a great price = zero complaints.
Worthless November 25, 2008 The cable did not work, so I had to go to Best Buy and purchase their name brand- luckily that one worked. This was a waste of money.
Works well enough October 29, 2008 Works as well any chord I guess. It plugs pretty tightly into my iPod though. I keep thinking it's going to get stuck or I'm going to have a problem disconnecting with it but I haven't. Satisfied.
A Cheap Alternative October 23, 2008 Well, here is another cheap alternative to buying an iPod cable from Apple. ...And so far so good. Even my original Apple cable lasted maybe 18 months before I wore it out. I've had a couple more since then. This one seems okay for general use though I haven't had it long enough to give you an expected lifetime with the heavy use I put them through. It seems a reasonable substitute for the brandname version so far though for the price.
Works for Nano but not Video Ipod October 5, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased this cable as a secondary cable to connect my Nano into my car. It works fine. I'm too cheap to buy another Apple branded cable, that's why I decided to purchase this one.
We did try and hook up my son's Video Ipod into my car using this cable, but it did not work. He had to use the cable that came with his Ipod in order to use his device in my car.
