Finally - a heastset that fits my ear November 19, 2008
This one fits. I have had two Jawbone headsets - the original & the new one. Both fell out of my ear. Of course, I also have problems with iPod earbuds for the same reason. I guess I do not have the standard ears that others have. I have had a few unexpected events with it - like having the voice commands shut off unintentionally. I guess I hit the wrong combination of buttons or something. I looked up how to turn them back on & all was well. The flashing blue light is bright enough that I have caught its reflection in my car at night and looked for an emergency vehicle. I guess you can turn that off, too; however, you have repeat the steps to turn it off every time you take it off the charger from what I read. The sound quality is good & the noise reduction is at least comparable to the Jawbone. The greatest advantages over the Jawbone are that the buttons are more intuitive and better positioned. (I kept dropping calls on the Jawbone because the buttons were right where I needed to put my finger to push it back in my ear). The voice announcement of incoming phone numbers is kind of handy. Eventually, I might use the voice dials, but I would have to reorder my favorites on my iPhone to use them right. Overall, a nice headset.

The voice control feature was great, and tie clip design is unique, innovative and very useful. I always have issue with where to put the headset when not using them.
However, the BlueAnt V1 worked great only when it was working. If you leave it on for a few hours, eventually it gets into a coma. It won't respond. Feel a lot like MS Windows in a small package. I missed many calls because of this. The call quality is also unacceptable. It is especially problematic when the original quality is sub-par due to, say, international long distance or the use of speaker phone on the far end. I had really hard time listening to many conference call. The big flashing blue light also bugged me as well even though you can turn it off but it doesn't stay off.
Just got myself another Nokia. This time the Nokia 703. Very happy with the style and performance.

this bluetooth will even pair itself all you need is an ear to hang it on and the ability to say, "teach me" it will take over from there.

being a firefighter and working in a noise filled fire station this product performed above what I had expected all though costing more than others it was well worth it.
