Waste of money May 24, 2008 I purchased this product as it claims to be made for the iRiver Clix 2. IT IS NOT purposed made. The case is too large and bulky and is a generic case into which the iRiver clix 2 will fit (so also will your cell phone - it is so large. Do not go for this product - i have never used it and probably never will!Horizontal Leather Case with Belt Clip/Loop for the iRiver Clix 2 (Clix2 / U20)
Fantastic Product October 1, 2007 Designed to be sturdy. Slightly bigger than the clix 2 player, but I would rather have it that way so it can be yanked out easily. It acts like a protective box which doesnt crumple under pressure and hit your clix 2. The holes are at the right place, so that the headphone can easily come out. The flap which shuts it close is quite sturdy and automatically clasps on to the magnet and ensures a lock everytime you let go of it.
Overall a good product ! and Classy..

The case is too big for the iRiver Clix2, and the holes are not in the right place. Some one screwed up on this one.
However, Gomadic was great. When I notified them, they immediately issued a credit for the full amount. Their service is superior.
Exactly as advertised June 28, 2007 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
The review written on this item before me mentions a tan liner on the inside with tan stitching throughout. I just got this item today and it is exactly as advertised: all sturdy and rigid black leather with a strong magnetic clasp, permanent belt loops and removable belt clip. Inside of case has fairly soft felt lining.
It does stick out on your hip a bit even if you use the belt loops (despite this, it still looks very classy and elegant) because the case is not nearly as thin as the Clix and is not "form fitting." Still works great, just doest fit the Clix like a glove and I'm not sure I would want it to.
Seems to be a great product. Lifetime warranty so you can't go wrong.
Not all black. June 4, 2007 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
The belt case is rugged and nice, with both permanent belt loops and a plastic clip, but it is not all black as shown. It has a light tan inner liner and more light tan stitching all over the front and around the sides.
It doesn't look BAD, it's still a nice case, and I want to emphasize that it IS rugged, strong, and well designed. The magnetic clasp is also very nice. Secure enough to hold the player in while bending over or upside down. I probobly wouldn't hessitate to go on a rollercoaster with this on my side. It opens and closes again intuitively and securely without having to actually focus on it, vs velcro for instance, where you want to lay the flap down just right and it can get dirty, plastic that would snap, a button you have to mess with, a snap you need to press on perfectly, or a metal clasp that will bend and loosen.
I do not use it however, as I don't like the way it stands out on my side, vs if it were all black as it appears in the picture. In fact, while it is clearly a black leather case, the tan stitching actually makes it appear to be dark brown from a distance. As a person who wears almost all black, all the time this was unacceptable. For the average office belt though, or if your using it for sport and don't care about the appearance... it is definetly worth buying.
