Product Description SanDisk Sansa e100 series of small, highly portable digital music players use embedded flash memory to store many hours of digital music. For an enjoyable music-listening experience, the new music players feature high-fidelity sound, a sophisticated yet easy-to-use song navigation and sorting system and a unique design that continues SanDisk's tradition of distinctive styling. The SanDisk Sansa players can store hundreds of songs and play up to 15 continuous hours on a single AAA battery. The new players feature an SD card slot to conveniently add more storage capacity, which can be significant since SanDisk and other companies have recently announced SD cards up to 2GB in capacity. The new players are designed to work seamlessly with a wide range of popular music formats such as MP3 and Windows Media Audio (WMA) in both unprotected and protected files (such as those WMA files purchased from music service provider sites). The SanDisk Sansa music players include stereo headphones, carrying case with armband, USB 2.0 cable, AAA Battery and Install CD with value-added software. For added flexibility, they can be used as a USB storage device. Furthermore, the new industrial design was created with future accessory options in mind.

Great little MP3 Player for the price! November 10, 2008 The device is just about everything it is advertised to be. I bought it refurbished and it was shipped like a brand new device. Reasonably priced (supposedly $84.99 suggested retail price!). It is nicely designed and the LCD screen is easy to read. Same problems with the FM tuner reception that is generally experienced on all other like devices. Included earbuds are well made and the sound is great. The built-in 512MB of memory may keep the selling price reasonable, but it may not be enough: It wasn't enough for my needs. I use my PC to load and organize my MP3s to an optional expansion, 2GB SD Card. I have only two complaints: The device is not as intuitive as it should be; no matter how many times you use it, it is too easy to confuse the button operations. Consequently, you waste too much time trying to get to the MP3 sound tracks you want, between power-offs. The other complaint is the power supply: The AAA battery shuts down the device too often; it is absolutely hell on batteries so you would probably do well to invest in an inexpensive charger and rechargeable AAAs.
Perfect for massive amounts of music September 1, 2008 I just want to say how please I am with this item and the seller. It arrived promptly and is just what I was looking for.
I have an MP3 player but this one takes my SD cards and as a music director I have a massive amount of music and teachings I like to have available, so this is perfect. I can sort my files according to use and just carry my SD cards. SO much easier than carrying individual CDs.
I have no idea why these types of players are no longer available in stores and unless someone starts making them again soon, they will probably not be available much longer. But if what you're looking for is something you can work with on this level, this is the best one I've found.
Best little MP3 player ever June 2, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is probably the best mp3 player I've ever owned. Works great and never gives me any problems. I love the expansion slot, I have multiple SD cards with different playlists on them so all I have to do is swap cards and I have a whole new set of tunes to match my mood, just like changing CD's, it's GREAT!
Awesome...Affordable...Alltogether Great Value!!! May 21, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The SanDisk Sansa e130 is an awesome little MP3 player. It has great sound quality. It really is a lot of bang for your buck.
Player easy to operate May 19, 2008 THe MP3 player is very easy to use, only should copy the MP3 files to the card and that's all, the only compleinment are the headphones, you must change this maybe by Sony Headphones, then the sound will be great.
