Amazon.com Product Description Small enough to fit in the palm of your hand but loaded with features, the Coby MP-C694 MP3 player lets you listen to your favorite tunes on the bus, at the park, and just about anywhere else. The device measures a mere 1.84 by 2.76 by 0.55 inches (W x H x D), with an attractive pendant-style body that's easy to carry. More significantly, the MP-C694 offers 2 GB of flash memory, so you can store roughly 32 hours of MP3 music or 64 hours of WMA music--more than enough for a marathon training run or a cross-country flight. And should that prove insufficient, the MP3 player also includes an SD/MMC card slot for easy memory upgrades (card sold separately). Simply slide a 1 GB card into the slot and you can enjoy an additional 16 hours of MP3 music without erasing the original content. The MP-C694 even offers mobile data storage capability, letting you transport business documents across the country or store overflow JPEGs from a digital camera. Another nice add-on is the full-color LCD display, which displays JPEG photo images while also making it easy to navigate through the audio player's contents. And as with the best MP3 players, the MP-C694 offers a number of handy extras, such as easy-to-use thumb navigation, a built-in FM radio and recorder, support for Windows Media DRM-10 online subscription services, an integrated microphone for digital voice recording, ID3 and LRC support for song and synchronized lyric information display, and a high-speed USB 2.0 interface (up to 40x faster than USB 1.0). The MP-C694, which runs on a single AAA battery (included), works with Windows 98 SE, Me, 2000, and XP and Mac OS X operating systems and carries a 90-day warranty. What's in the Box MP-C694 MP3 player, professional stereo earphones, USB extension cable, installation CD, AAA battery, user's manual.

nice features but cheap material July 19, 2008 It works but i'm a little embarassed to show it off because it looks cheap, feels cheap, and cheap....cheap cheap...
The Good and The Bad January 31, 2008 I brought one of these for my bf and myself. My bf mp3 was stolen, so i ordered another seeing that mine was working so well. I had absolutely no problem with mine up to this day, i love it. The headphones are great, the sound equality is great, the screen is so great but what more do you expect. The mic recording feature is excellent. the battery life is pretty good also. I never had to reset and it never froze up on me. Putting songs on it is so easy this is a great product.
So why am i giving it 3 stars, because the other one i ordered i had to send it back it last 2 weeks. First thing i notice with it, was that the picture stuck on the outside was different and it had no plastic to protect the screen which mine had. after about a two days the volume key became real hard the press that was ok till i noticed the entire panel was shaking that panel with left, right, plus, minus. That was still ok with my bf cause it stilled worked. Then one day it just died, real disappointing.
i don't understand how mine is still running beautifully and that one was such poor quality. Coby you get a thumps down for being so inconsistent.
love it January 30, 2008 this item was everything i asked for. sound quality is fantastic, nice clean design, durable, expandable memory. battery life is great too. Why spend hundreds when you can get a good quality player like this for a great price? This is the 2nd coby mp3 player i've owned and both are fantastic.
Coby 1 January 8, 2008 My son's first MP3 player - Did not want anything expensive like an IPOD; did not have any problems downloading songs. Sturdy, not cheap looking or feeling. VERY good price - should have bought two - one for my younger son. Item arrived pretty quickly!
Don't be tempted by the price... January 7, 2008 I like Coby electronics but this mp3 player really bad. The screen is really small and pretty much useless and it is crooked inside the player. The plastic construction is very cheap and will scratch easily, battery life is bad and there is a reason that there is a reset button on the back, it WILL freeze up a lot. Sound quality was actually decent I just wished they could have made the whole thing a lot more durable.
