Not Useful, But Looks Too Good May 16, 2008 I would spend this money and buy this product even if it didn't work. The look is just too cool, makes a luxurious paperweight and makes a great long-term collectible.
Is function all we Americans care about? Our lives are happening too fast for us to appreciate the subtle moments of art and design without function. We would prefer to go to a baseball game rather than go to a renowned art museum.
If the product works, I would keep it and use it lightly, because of its fragile nature, so that it can last years to come. If Nextar or another company comes out with a new MP3 player with a similar design and increases the quality, it will be a consistent four or five star product.
It's shiny junk, but still junk. December 13, 2007 I bought this as a gift, intending to load it up with music for my sis before sending it off. Glad I did that, because it gave me the opportunity to see this thing in action before disappointing my sister with it. First of all the buttons are really difficult to push. Sometimes they work and sometimes not. Second, the on/off switch fell off the minute I touched it. Third the interface is insultingly awful. I agree with whomever said to spend your money elsewhere. They should have put less effort into the pretty casing and more into the workings of this thing. I've already tossed it aside and ordered a Sandisk for her. This thing is total junk and isn't worth the materials it's made of.
Junk August 23, 2007 I don't remember all the things wrong with this. Mostly, it was very poor quality. I'm pretty sure the one I received didn't work and that's why it got sent back.
NOT WORKING AT ALL June 9, 2007 I bought 03 of this players, the first one i tried to format as the web page recommends; it couldn`t be formatted. the second one doesn`t turns on and the third one got the format, turns on and off normally but the battery never gets charged!!!!! that`s a very bad product, i might give a D- qualifying
it doesn't work May 12, 2007 I bought two and both worked bad. one the battery did not work, and another one the memory...
