Best Bang for your Buck January 8, 2009 As new software and Windows updates come out I noticed it sapped more of my precious memory from my 4 yr old Dell Inspiron 9200 with a mere (by todays standards) 512mb of RAM. So, I finally caved in and purchased 2 sticks of Crucial 1GB PC2700 DDR 333MHZ from Amazon (sold and shipped by). They arrived ahead of schedule, took 5 min to install and were instantly recognized by my system. I've since noticed much better performance and can run all of the software that I need run simultaneously (photo and video) without any issues whatsoever. I highly recommend this memory to anyone looking for a performance upgrade to facilitate smoother multi-tasking. Cheers!
Solid Laptop Memory January 4, 2009 It never makes sense to me, but Crucial Memory is always cheaper here on Amazon than on crucial.com...
I've been using their memory for years without so much as a hiccup, and this time was no different, as expected.
2GB Update for Dell Inspiron 8200 laptop December 25, 2008 Received two 1GP cards and insstalled them in in my Computer and the information in the My Computer correctly indicated 2GB of RAM. Works great so far.
Makes My Toshiba Tecra M2 Work Like A Real Laptop December 24, 2008 It does what my title says it does; it makes the laptop run like a real computer. I can finally do more than three programs at once and not be slowed down. I can open new programs and not take ten minutes to open. Good product to buy for any with this laptop.
1GB DDR SODIMM December 24, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I ordered and installed two of these modules into a Compaq Persario notebook which only had 500 MB (2 x 256MB) previously.
After installing the two Crucial 1GB modules, the notebook booted right up and runs much faster when I have lots memory hungry applications running. Now, if only I could upgrade the CPU...
